Ignacio Galarza

Is the former CEO of Torneos, he joined Torneos in 2015, after the sports industry was shocked by the initial accusations in the so-called FIFA-Gate. Finding Torneos deeply involved in the scandal, Ignacio implemented a turnaround plan, creating a new team to relaunch the company, launching new business opportunities and expanding its production services in the region. Upon leaving the company in 2022, they had successfully transformed into Tournaments, achieving their FIFA-Gate exemption and making them an undisputed leader in the sports industry in Latin America.

Pedro Castro Nevares

Pedro is the former Legal and Compliance Director of Tournaments. He joined the company in 2015, immediately after the publication in the United States of the accusations that gave rise to the so-called FIFA-Gate. Pedro was the main negotiator for the complete restructuring of all Tournament commercial agreements with the main content and broadcast distributors in the region, as well as with CONMEBOL and its Federations. He also led the team tasked with achieving a significant milestone in FIFA-Gate: Torneos became the first company in the case to reach a deferred prosecution agreement with the United States Department of Justice, paving the way for it to continue as a leading production and entertainment company in the region. The complete transformation of Torneos and its culture of integrity and transparency received praise from both the United States Attorney's Office and the Judge in charge of the case

Máximo Kemp

Máximo has a solid track record of over 17 years in the commercial and advertising sectors. From our offices in Miami, he leads the development and generation of strategic business opportunities for the region. He holds a degree in Advertising and Marketing from the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) and has completed advanced executive programs at Yale University and the University of Chicago. Before focusing on the sports industry, he worked at renowned advertising agencies such as GREY, DENTSU, and TBWA. He then spent over eight years as part of the Sports Commercial Rights team at Torneos, where he led negotiations and commercial planning with broadcasters and brands on an international level. Throughout his career, Maximo has developed deep expertise in sports and entertainment sponsorships, including contract negotiation, promotions, event management, and media rights. His career reflects a blend of experience, passion for sports, a strong work ethic, and an outstanding ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

Alejandro Castro Nevares

Alejandro has extensive and varied experience in financial, accounting and administrative management in numerous ventures in various business areas, such as Information Technology Solutions, Marketing Services, Distribution and others. He has also worked as an independent consultant for several SMEs, advising companies on Business Process Management (BPM), designing and implementing tools and processes to generate efficient information systems for making managerial decisions.

Martín Tula

Martín works in the International Affairs and Strategic Alliances department of our company, particularly with Football Associations, Federations, and Clubs. His contribution is essential to the structure, as he brings valuable experience from having developed the International Management area in Argentine clubs. He has implemented methodologies for talent scouting, brand expansion, sports events, campus development, the Draft, and a comprehensive training plan through training centers both nationally and internationally, while respecting the unique identity of the associated football we enjoy in Argentina.

Paulo Arena

He was Head of Recruitment for Club Argentino Juniors for four years, where he recruited more than 60 players for the club, created the international team, and opened more than 20 branches. He is currently the sports manager for ADN, an international scout, and the leader of the sports project in the field of methodology and a system for finding high-performance soccer players.

Agreements with ALL clubs in Argentina

Ignacio, acting as CEO / General Manager, and Pedro, as Director of Legal and Compliance, led a complete cultural and business transformation of one of the leading sports event production companies in Latin America. They transformed the company from being under investigation for serious corruption crimes in various jurisdictions (including the United States, Argentina, Uruguay, among others) to emerging as a leading industry player with new business lines and fully restructured. Today, under new leadership, the company continues its successful trajectory.

DATISA SA

Comprehensive renegotiation of the contractual agreements through which a Uruguayan company was responsible for the complete commercial exploitation of successive editions of the "Copa América," the oldest national teams' tournament in the world and the most significant within the CONMEBOL framework. After reaching the corresponding agreements with CONMEBOL, we successfully negotiated the final settlement of the company in question, despite resistance from its remaining commercial partners and under intense scrutiny from judicial authorities in various countries.
